The Master Speaks

"Christ interprets Itself. The vision of The Infinite Way is that we do not go out into the world trying to correct it or improve it. Let us not have any fear of or for the world, or any sense of the world's needing saving or reforming, since all that has to do with the universal concept of a world. We are not asked to leave the world; we are asked to be in the world, but not of it. We are to be in the world, but we are to be no part of its fears, its hates, its enmitites, or its jealousies. 'Ye are the light of the world.' No one can be a 'light of the world' who has any fear, doubt, criticism, judgment, hate, envy, jealousy, or malice. The 'light of the world' is that individual who, through spiritual discernment, has seen that the universe is spiritual, perfect, and harmonious. This, he can only see or feel through an inner spiritual light or spiritual discernment."
