"In one way or another, we all lose the sense of attachment that has made us proud to belong to this family or that family, or to this country or that country, this race or that race, this religion or that religion. We lose it all in proportion to the realization of that word I, because the I of me is the I of you. If there is only one Father in heaven, you and I are brothers and sisters, and the sooner we awaken to this and begin to act like it, the sooner we bring about our own emancipation and the freedom of those who come within range of our consciousness."
