There is only one real sense, consciousness, of which the five physical senses -- sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell -- are but extensions. Each one of these senses functions in a different way. Each part of the body functions in a different way: the hands in one way, the feet another, the right hand one way, and the left hand another, each complementing the other and forming a complete whole. Every part of you is an extension of consciousness.
