Infinite Way Study Practice
January-March 2004

The following study practice is designed for those students who already have at least some background with Joel Goldsmith's Infinite Way teaching. My first recommendation would be that you go to the source text or tape where these messages are presented and listen to the original instruction.

Adapted From Joel Goldsmith's
"Spiritual Discernment: The Healing Consciousness" -
Chapter 8 - Mind Imbued With Truth

In Joel's book "Spiritual Discernment: The Healing Consciousness" there is a subheader in Chapter 8 entitled "Is Your Mind Imbued With Truth?" In this section of the book Joel relates to us the need for continual study and contemplation of the principles that make up the Infinite Way. The reason a continual effort is required is because the principles of the spiritual way of life tend to run in direct opposition to many of the things we have been taught, even by those of the religious organizations in our lives.

In the Infinite Way we are told that we must trust our own heart. Yes, we have heard that statement throughout our lives in many a Disney movie or other forms of well meaning literature. Yet how many times have we truly LIVED that statement from a standpoint of knowing the truth of God as omnipresent to all experience.

Certainly, Joel warns us that we cannot maintain a higher state of consciousness than that which we have currently attained. And here you are reading this sentence on this Unofficial Infinite Way web site... And why? Why are you here? Is it not that within your own heart you have trusted in a universe where "God made all that was made, and all that God made was good." Isn't that what has brought us together here and now? This one intuitive understanding that you have and that I have. And that even though appearances around us may testify to something else, we are not going to judge by appearances when we KNOW in our hearts that God is ALL!

"God constitutes individual being, your being and mine. Even your body is the temple of the living God." Yes, we agree on the inner meaning of these statements. Inwardly, we hold to a spiritual reality beyond the appearances. God is not out there. God is not within us. God IS!

Now, go and tell no man.
